I am Angel Paternina-Caicedo, a health researcher who specializes in global health and data science. Born in Colombia, I did in the United States a postdoctoral fellowship in the Public Health Dynamics Laboratory of University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.
I am interested in work to increase the use of evidence-based interventions in health, from the upper levels of management, down to the health care worker delivering medication to the patient. In order to do this, and lower the knowledge gap between policy makers, researchers, and clinicians, I have focused in work related to the impact, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of public health interventions, and in tools to aid clinicians to better assess and triage the health of a patient.
Here is my Curriculum Vitae.
